October 22, 2016 Hertz Employees volunteered at the Pantry.
They painted part of the classroom; filled bags of rice and beans and sorted and put away food donations in the pantry.

Thanks to a grant from West Bay Foundation, a new awning was installed to protect deliveries on raining days. The awning will also provide shade which will help with keeping the doors cooler from the hot sun.
Art & Susan Nicoletti hosted a 2016 Super Bowl Party for family, friends and neighbors at their home in Idle Wild in Shadow Wood. TheY collected 601 lbs of food donations for the pantry. A VERY SUPER WAY TO HELP THE FOOD PANTRY.

Sherry Stokes from The Plantation asked her party guest to bring cleaning supplies in lieu of gifts and donated them to Interfaith Charities. What a wonderful way to celebrate.
ICSL is award a $35,000 grant from Shadow Wood Charitable Foundation.
These funds will be used to continue work on the Garden of Fellowship to provide healthier food options for clients. Also much needed pantry renovations will now begin next month.

BB&T-Oswald Trippe and Company
Serving as a becaon for neighbors in need is the basis for the BB&T Light House Project. Local volunteers built three new raised beds for the Garden of Fellowship a joint project by ICSL and Hope Presybertian Church funded by Shadow Wood Charitable Foundation to provide healther food options for ICSL Clients.
We thank the wonderful volunteers who built these beds May 7, 2015.

Celebrating six years of BB&T’s company-wide service effort, they continue to roll up their sleeves and make a positive difference in our community. "The BB&T Lighthouse Project, held May and June of each year, gives us the opportunity to put the BB&T mission into action, doing our part to improve the communities we serve" said Stacy Mercado, local project leader.
